The site where turners turn to.

Pen making has been going on all over the world for centuries.
Originally Pens were made from quills and dipped into bottles containing ink. It was only in 1884 that the first fountain pen as we know it was created.
The humble ball point pen came out in 1945, and has gone from strength to strength. When you look through our penturners pages we can assure you that there is nothing humble about the pens that have been carefully crafted by our penturners.
There is nothing like holding a pen that has been crafted from wood, resin, or any other man made substance and observing the beauty and the workmanship that has gone into creating this writing impliment.
The art of pen-turning is very much about exposing the natural beauty of the material that the penturner is working with.
We have on the website an array of penturners ranging from the very well known to the not so well known, but all have that common thread that binds them together, the will and ability to produce pens that not only are a pleasure to admire but also to give and receive.
