Daniel's Spiral Lamp
The question everyone asks is
"how is this done?"
I started this project in 1981, it took me three years and $75,000 to do the prototyping.
There was and is no machinery tooling and hardware to do this project.
It was necessary to design and build all of the machinery tooling and hardware for each phase.
This is my four spiral lamp, to achieve this, I cut a tree, cypress tree, about 14 inches in diameter, 2 foot-long.
The next picture is the processes required to make the lamp.

The next picture is a top view of the four spiral lamp.

The four spirals are replaced on the base, exactly as the tree grew within 1/16 of an inch.

Michael's Plaques
Shown below is an artifact that goes back to World War 1. The plaque was known as the "Dead Mans Penny" and also called a "Widows Penny" as it was given to relatives who lost family in the Great War.
This plaque lay wrapped up in a cupboard for years, I eventually turned a lovely piece oak and inset the plaque into it.
It is now a talking point for visitors that come to the house.

If you have a medal or a plaque and wish to have it mounted, drop me a line and we will work something out for you.
The cost will depend upon the size that you want and the type of wood that is used.
The above medal is not for sale.
